What's new?

I've converted to Christianity.

Boom!

That alone is astonishing. Small change, and yet such a big difference on the way of seeing things. From believing there is no God to accepting He does exist and Jesus died for my sins.

I'm still struggling with some of my views, since I was an Atheist for so long, it doesn't go away like that. But it's not that difficult as I imagined it would be either. Reading Christian books and the Bible has been helping me understand a lot about my Faith, the whole reason why we're here and why humans are so screwed up.

It's weird that something that was so illogical now is so clear and helps me understand the world better.

Am I going to change the type of blog because of this change? No. I'll even avoid mentioning Faith related topics, but since it is now a part of me, it's hard to separate myself from it, so there's a good possibility my updates may be Christian-charged once in a while.

Am I going to stop posting funny atheist stuff? No. There are very few things that we shouldn't be able to laugh from, and some of the Christian beliefs (even those I now share) are very laughable given the proper set-up. It doesn't mean I'm mocking my faith or my God, it means I can laugh from myself and specially some of the crazy shit my Christian counterparts that are more extreme advocate.

Also (and I'll move forward from this in a moment), there are some self-proclaimed Christians that annoy me so much more than any atheist in the world. People that go to dead soldiers funerals with the "God Hates Fags" signs, Priests that molest kids, just to name a few. Because these people give a bad name to Christianity and actually do more to keep people from Faith than any atheist ever could.
