There's something that has always astound me in this man's life.

I can understand how fear and the need to do what was right would be battling in his head before he decided to do what was right.

What always fascinated me was his resolution, right until the end of his life, in poverty and disgrace:

"I would rather stand with God against man, than with man against God"

"I could not have acted otherwise, therefore I accept all that has befallen me with love"

That's just powerful.

This is a true hero. His name should be known.
